Kapari beach is ideal for those seeking quietness. Kapari, overlooking the sacred island of Delos, is being one of the few pristine beaches in Mykonos that gives you the chance to a serene swim amidst the constant partying. Even though it is just 5km from Chora, its difficult access (rutty road and walking to the beach) ensured that Kapari will always probably be the most unspoiled beach of Mykonos. For he who delights in pure nature, Kapari is the top choice.
Agrari beach is right next to Elia, in a 10km distance from the Chora of Mykonos. Agrari is an immense golden beach, where you can enjoy a great swim, windsurf or choose from a range of water sports.
In Mykonos you can either move with your own vehicle or rent one from the many rental offices that operate on the island.

To visit the southern beaches you can take a traditional boat (kaiki) from Platy Gialo or Orno, while small boats depart to Delos from Chora.

From the ports of Piraeus and Rafina there are daily departures of conventional boats or speedboats that will bring you to the island of Mykonos, in a period ranging from 3 (high speed) to 5 (ferries) hours.
Ano Mera is a scenic village in the mainland, approximately 7.5km from Chora. The initial settlement of Ano Mera was created around the monastery of Panagia Tourliani and developed thanks to this neighboring. As an ex rural village it still has its own traditional products, being a woth visiting destination to wander around and dine at the several quality restaurants of Ano Mera. Of course do not forget to visit the monastery Panagias Tourlianis.
