The Castle of Agios Georgios is in Kymi, in the wider region of Euboea(Evia).
The Castle is also known as Kymi Castle and it is probably a Byzantine building, with an unknown date of foundation. It is perched on a steep cliff and it served as a watchtower.
Today all that is preserved from the castle is part of the walls, ruins of the towers and a cistern. The castle took its name from a chapel dedicated to Saint George, which was abandoned along with the rest of the castle and later rebuilt by monks.
