The Archaeological Museum of Piraeus is in Piraeus area, almost 10 km from the center of Athens.
It was founded in 1935 and in 1982 it expanded in a bigger building. The exhibits in the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus are mainly from the area of Piraeus and cover a period from the Mycenaean up to the Roman times.
