The beach of Thermi is in southwestern part of the island, about 7 kilometers from Fira. This is another rather quiet beach with black pebbles, ideal for a relaxing bath. In the past, this used to be a place with hot springs and baths. An interesting attraction in Thermi beach is a church carved into the rocks.
The beach Vourvoulos is in the eastern side of the island, relatively close to the village.
Not being well known to tourists, this is a serene beach with black pebbles and beautiful waters. The few umbrellas coupled with the easy access promise a relaxing swimming. Right next to Vourvoulos beach you will see a harbor for small boats and a tavern.
Close to Oia is the small beach of Amoudi. Although it is basically a harbor and not a beach, it has excellent waters and many choose it for swimming. However, it is mostly known for its wonderful view (especially at sunset) and the equally wonderful restaurants.
