Akti tou iliou beach is about 25 km from the center of Athens, in the Southern suburbs, on the Poseidonos avenue in Alimos.

It is a highly organized beach and you need an admission ticket to enter it. Akti tou iliou is a sandy beach and its facilities include sun beds, umbrellas, beach bar and restaurant.

The beach is actually within the city and has easy access via Public Transportation.
