Kouloubos beach is located in the northern part of the island. It is covered with tiny pebbles, while its waters are crystal clear and relatively warm. Being a pretty quiet beach, it is often chosen by some for nudism.
Not far away from the beach, is also the underwater crater Kouloubos that was found in 1650, when it exploded for the last time. Experienced divers can give its exploration a shot, since, although the crater is at a depth of 500 meters, there are shallower spots.
