A northern beach with azure waters and sand. It is located in Panormos cove, 5 km from Chora. When its windy, this is an ideal destination for windsurfing enthusiasts, as Ftelia is a typical windswept beach, where windsurfing contests are being organized. The seashore is divided in two by a rock, upon which findings of a neolithic settlement dating back to 4.500 BC, have been discovered.
According to some, here lies Aias Lokros' grave, who was a mythical hero of Homer's Iliad. Ftelia is an extraordinary beach that you should by no means forget to visit with your own car.
