Papa Nero beach is next to the cosmopolitan resort of Agios Ioannis.

It is long, strewn with sand and small pebbles. Its turquoise waters invite you to dive and swim for hours and hours, and that’s exactly what you should do. Papa Nero beach is organized with sun beads and parasols. If you happen to need anything extra, you can easily find it in the next village; food, coffee, drinks, nightlife, even rooms to stay overnight and repeat it all over again.

Shortly after Kala Nera and right before Afissos, you will find Boufa beach or else Koropi.

Boufa beach is one of the largest and best-known beaches throughout Magnesia. It is covered with golden sand and pebbles, while the trees of the region almost reach the sea, offering wonderful shade. Here, as in all beaches in the Pagasitikos Gulf, you have the chance to enjoy a relaxing swim without particular waves.

Boufa is organized with sun beds and umbrellas. It has a beach bar, taverns and water sports facilities. Its unique disadvantage--if one can characterize it as one-- is that it is selected by many people, thus being relatively crowdy, especially in summer weekends.
