Laouti or Skylantar beach is in the southeastern tip of the island.
Whatever the name you may choose to use, this is a lovely sandy beach where you can enjoy your swim or even your favorite water sports. Luckily, the surrounding area has restaurants, cafes and bars for a hearty meal, a coffee or a cool drink.
Ormos Giannaki is near the village Kardiani, in Tinos.
Here you will find a quiet, serene beach with pebbles and sand. The crystalline waters guarantee a beautiful swim, and the area offers restaurants to satisfy the unavoidable hunger.
Kalyvia beach, also known as Ormos Yiannaki, is in the southwestern part of Tinos.
This beautiful beach is covered with sand, some pebbles and has cool blue waters. Kalyvia beach is organized with sun beds and umbrellas, featuring a beach bar where you can taste the famous "rakohito" (available only here!). If you get there at midday, chances are that everything will be occupied, so the tamarisk trees will turn out to be your shade-shelter.
Near the picturesque village of Kardiani, lies Agios Petros beach.
This is a sandy, fairly quiet beach, ideal for swimming and meditating in the calm blue waters. Here is also the 16th century church, from which Agios Petros beach took its name.
Agios Fokas beach is in Tinos, extremely close to the main town, Chora.
Agios Fokas is the longest beach of the island and here you will find almost everything. Large pieces of sand and smaller ones strewn with pebble. Sun beds, umbrellas and tamarisk trees for extra shade. Crystal clear waters for swimming that stretch out to a massive extension, as well as water sports (pedalos, canoes, windsurfing etc.).
If you are in for a treat, Agios Fokas beach has numerous restaurants, taverns and beach bars to enjoy food, coffee or drinks. Being at a walking distance from Chora, it is a daily favorite for many visitors. Yet, thanks to its vastness, you can isolate yourself from the hustle and bustleif you wish so.
Agia Thalassa beach is in the northern part of Tinos and its name in English means "Holy Sea".
This lovely sandy beach is well protected from the northern winds. This is why in its waters you can enjoy a relaxing swim and find shelter in the tamarisk trees' shadow.
