Approximately 20 km west of the center of Patras is the beach Kato Achaea.

The beach of Kato Achaea is vast, sanded and has wonderful blue waters. The beach is highly organized with sun beds, umbrellas, water sports and beach volley. In the area you will also find exquisite cafes and beach-bars to enjoy your coffee or drinks.

In Rio very close to the center of Patras, lies the beach Dimorigopoulou.

The beach Dimorigopoulou is a good choice for those who want to move away from Patras to enjoy a swim in the azure waters. Along the beach you will find many shops where you can enjoy food, coffee or drinks.

Just outside the Rio is the beach of Agios Vasilios.

The beach of Agios Vasilios is covered with small pebbles and has gorgeous blue waters. The beach is organized with sun beds and umbrellas, while in the wider area there are cafes and bars where you can enjoy your coffee or drink.

The region of Achaea is served by bus transportation, while it is also crossed by the ΟΣΕ railway line. Especially the city of Patras has a pretty good internal transport system, with frequent routes.

Throughout the area of Achaea you will find active taxis and of course you always have the option to hire a car from the many rental agencies.
